Miss Rawls had been ill for nearly a year with pellagra, which was the cause of her death. She had been confined to her bed for nearly six months, yet hope was never give up for her recovery, everything being done to relieve her suffering, she having undergone treatment in an Atlanta Sanitarium. She was well known and was loved by everyone who knew her, having been a trained nurse, during the past several years and nursed many sick people in all sections of the country. Miss Rawls was a consistent member of the Pearce Chapel Methodist Church. The funeral services were held at Pearce Chapel church at eleven o'clock last Saturday morning, the remains being laid to rest in the cemetery nearby. Rev. H. P. Stubbs, her pastor, conducted the last sad rites of this good woman. A large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends attended the last sad rites. Miss Rawls, had she lived, would have been 42 years of age on the 27th of this month. She is survived by her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. T.
