Perry G. Russell Killed in Miami, Fla.

News was received in Cairo last Saturday that Mr. Perry G. Russell, a former 
resident of Cairo had been killed in Miami, Fla.  No details were given.  The 
funeral was held Sunday in the Florida city, where he had resided for the past 
several years.  Mr. Russell is well known hwere having been a resident of Cairo 
for several years.  He left Cairo 15 years ago after selilng the Cairo 
Telephone Exchange to Mr. J. W. Southall, its present owner.
