L. Fleetwood, died last Friday morning about two o'clock. The child was suddenly taken ill one night about three weeks ago. When a doctor was called in, he found that the child was poisoned. Upon investigation, a dead rat was found in the butter, a part of which Curtis had eaten for his supper. This, it is believed, by friends of the family, to be the cause of his death. The little fellow suffered severely from the time he was stricken up to his death. The funeral and interment took place Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Barnett Creek church.
