H. Merrett, a loving Christian and devoted loving wife and mother. She left two little children and husband to mourn her loss besides a host of kindred and friends. Sister Callie Merrett joined the Capel Baptist church, July 22nd, 1918, and was baptised by her Pastor, Bro. F. O. Oates and lived a faithful Christian life until God saw fit to take her home. Now she is up in Heaven waiting for her loved ones to come home where there will be no more broken families and no more sorrow and where there will be no more good byes. While it was our loss it was Heaven's eternal gain. Sister Merrett was loved by all who knew her. Resolved, that we bow our heads and hearts to the Good Giver of all gifts that His will must be done, and not ours. Resolved second, that we cherish her memory in our hearts and minds and we know that she is with the Angels and the right hand of the Father. Resolved third, that we send a copy of these resolutions to the county paper and one to the family and give a space in our minute book to her sweet memory. This is done by order of the conference June 21st, 1919. J. S. Dollar J. M. Prince B. S. Willis, Committee This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
