P. Phillips Passes Away Mr. J. P. Phillips, about 90 years of age, second to the oldest man in Grady county, died Wednesday, July 30th, at his home about twelve miles north of town. Mr. Phillips was a veteran of the Seminole Indian War of 1856-57, also of the war between the States, 1861-65. The funeral and burial services were held Friday. He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Charlie Tate of Mitchell county; Mrs. Mary Taylor of Grady county, and two sons: Jno.
