The Cairo Messenger, November 6, 1970
Mrs. Nancy B. Jones, age 87, passed away Monday, November 2, 1970 in the 
Archbold Memorial Hospital of Thomasville after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 4, 1970, 3:00 p.m. at the Clark 
Chapel with Rev. Arnold Davis and Sister Myrtice Allen officiating.  Active 
pallbearers were Robert Lee Cannon, Lindsey Cannon, Hugh Harrison, Glen 
Kincaid, Hugh Vickers and Luther Ausburn.  Interment was in Pine Hill Baptist 
Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones was born in Decatur County, May 15, 1883, to Redman and Nancy 
Griffin Butler.  She was a lifetime resident of this county and a member of the 
Pine Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving the deceased are four sons:  George Jones of Calvary; Randolph Jones 
of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; Paul Jones of Portland, Oregon; Tom Jones of 
Winter Haven, Fla.; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Clark Funeral Home of Cairo was in charge of arrangements.
