F. Lewis Mr. B. F. Lewis, of Ochlocknee, was in Thomasville Tuesday, accompanying the remains of his wife to that town, where her funeral took place Tuesday afternoon. The circumstances surrounding her death were peculiarly sad. A few days ago, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis with their family of little children drove through the country to Shell Point, Fla., on a fishing trip. Mrs. Lewis accidentally shot herself in the arm and had to drive a day and a half before the service of a physician could be secured. She was placed in the hospital at Tallahassee and lingered until Monday afternoon when she passed away. Mr. Lewis desires to express his heartfelt thanks to the good people of Tallahassee for their kindness to him in his trouble. The sympathies of the entire county are with him.
