R. Maxwell Dead Mrs. J. R. Maxwell, who had suffered for several weeks of typhoid fever, died last Saturday, upon a sudden and unsuspected relapse. She had had a serious illness but it was thought that she would recover and she was improving rapidly until a very short time before her death, when a change suddenly took place for the worse. Mrs. Maxwell was a consistent member of the Baptist Church, and her life had been a blessing to her people. There are three little children left motherless on account of her death. Her husband, Mr. Maxwell, is a well known citizen of our county living about nine miles north of Cairo, and there are many friends of the family who will be sad to hear of their great and untimely loss. Mrs. Maxwell was a daughter of Mr. Lige Colvin. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
