She had been afflicted for more than a year with paralysis, which was the final cause of her death. Mrs. Dickey was about 45 years of age and had lived a life of usefulness. All who knew her regarded her as an exceptionally good woman, and one whose years had been fruitful of kind words and deeds. She was a faithful wife, loving mother, and a loyal Christian. She leaves three daughters, one son, and a heart-stricken husband to mourn her death, whose grief will be shared by a large number of friends. Mrs. Dickey was a sister of Mr. D. W. Tyus, our nominee for sheriff, besides having other prominent family connections in the county. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
