Hurst is dead. She had been lingering for several weeks and the end finally came last Tuesday morning, the cause being tuberculosis, from which she had suffered for a number of years. She was about 35 years of age and had been a member of the Baptist Church since her girlhood, having lived a life of kindness and goodness and held out consistently and steadfastly in the faith which she had professed. While it had not been thought for some time that she could recover, yet her death will come as very sad news to many friends and acquaintances. She is survived by one little girl about eight years old and her husband Mr. Ira L. Hurst. The bleeding hearts of these will receive all the balm that the sympathy of loving friends can bestow. The funeral services were held in the Baptist Church Wednesday and conducted by Rev. T. A. White. Mrs. Hurst was, before marriage, Miss Killingsworth.
