H. Godwin's little six year old daughter departed this life Oct. 1st, 1906. Being an exceptionally bright child, and a child that loved the sweet songs, "I am going home to die no more," and "I feel like traveling on," and many others that space will not admit us to mention. She left the assurance to her kind and loving mother and father, brothers and sisters that she was going higher, where Christ is speaking of these things in clear terms. She was a very favorite one among the family and friends who knew her. The family has our prayers in their bereavement. May the loving hand of the Lord deal kindly upon them. The funeral took place at the Collins cemetery conducted by the Rev. R. G. Lewis. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
