The train was backing up and the brakeman was standing in the rear door of the caboose and the engine, giving a sudden jerk, caused him to fall out. One wheel ran over shoulder, neck and one arm, almost severing his head from his body. (Bainbridge Tribune, April 7) Mr. Byron Sasser, the above mentioned young man was a son of Mr. J. M. Sasser, one of Grady County's Commissioners, and was possessed of many enobling traits, and his demise is regretted by a large number of relatives and friends, joined in by the Messenger who tenders condolence to the young widow and mother, and may the Great Healer comfort her in her hour of sorrow.
