Death Mrs. Moore
News has just been received of the sad death of Mrs. Mary R. Moore in 
Valdosta.  Mrs. Moore was the wife of the late Dr. J. T. Moore, a pioneer 
physician and settler of Cairo.  For the past few years since the death of Dr. 
Moore, Mrs. Moore has resided in Valdosta with her niece, Mrs. O. M. Smith.  
Mrs. Moore, early in life, gave her heart to God, and through the long life 
with which she was blessed her faith never faltered.  Her works will live and 
the influence of her Godly life will be felt in the years to come.  Mrs. Moore 
having no children of her own to rear, adopted two and reared them to years of 
responsiblity.  They are Mrs. Lona Hale of Houston, Texas, and J. Hayse Moore 
of Mich.  Mrs. Moore will be remembered by all as a pure Christian woman, one 
whose work was the Lord's.  She was associated with the Presbyterian church.  
Her remains were interred at Quitman.
