Death of Little Jewel Bryant
It is with a feeling of deepest sorrow that the Messenger is called upon to 
announce the death of little Jewel Bryant, infant of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Bryant, 
who died at their home near Pine Hill last Friday at noon.  Jewel was eighteen 
months of age.  She was a bright little child and was greatly beloved by all 
who knew her.  She was sick about two weeks.  The sympathy of the community is 
extended to the fond parents and relatives in the hour of sadness.  While we 
all weep when these little darlings leave us, it is because of the achings of 
our hearts to lose them from our presence, but still we rejoice in knowing they 
are safe with Christ in their home.
