Cairo Messenger, November 15, 1968
Mrs. Lillian Salter, Grady Countian, Passed Away Nov. 7
Mrs. Lillian Annice Salter passed away at 5 a.m. November 7.  Funeral services 
were held on November 9, 1968 and burial was in Pisgah Cemetery.  Elder C. C. 
Houston and Rev. Alfred Hinton officiated.

Born in Rockford, Alabama on June 17, 1894, she was the daughter of William 
Lewis Miller and Sarah Amanda Hughes Miller.  She had lived in Grady County for 
40 years.  Her survivors include one son, Lavaughn Salter, Climax; and three 
grandchildren.
