P. Malloy. She had been in her usual health, and, on Saturday, seemed especially bright and cheerful. She had just put the little chidren in bed for the night, and gone to her own room, when her daughter heard her call, and death came almost before she could be put on the bed. Mrs. Little was formerly from North Carolina, but, for some years, has made her home with Mr. Malloy in our city. She was in her seventy-sixty year, and for many years ad been a faithful member of the Presbyterian church. Just before her death, she had been planning to go to church the following day, and partake of the sacrament of the Lord's Supper. Christ was exemplified in her life, and by her happy, cheerful nature, she had won a place in the hearts of all who knew her. The body was carried to North Carolina, Monday, for interment. Of Mrs. Little, it can be truthfully said that "to live is Christ, to die is gain." Besides Mrs. Malloy, she leaves two daughters in North Carolina, and one son, Dr. A. G. Little of Valdosta, with a number of grand-children and other relatives. Our entire community sympathize with the family in this hour of deep sorrow, and point them to her Saviour, who alone can heal their broken hearts.
