The Cairo Messenger, Friday, June 12, 1908 
"Newsy Notes From Whigham"
Mr. Tom Whigham died at his home in north Grady Saturday eve last after a few 
days illness.  He leaves a wife and five children to mourn his loss.  Interment 
at New Hope Cemetery Sunday afternoon.
