His father and several of his little brothers were with him. His father fell to the ground, and a brother had his hat knocked off. Marvin was a fine character, and a favorite with his associates and his teacher at school. The community extended much assistance and sympathy. His teacher and many of his little friends visited his remains and wept for their departed little friend. Death has its horrors under any conditions, but to be so suddenly snatched away in the joy of youth and in the vigor of health is peculiarly sad.
