Mr. Casper Walker Has Passed Away
We are again called to mourn the death of one of our best citizens. Mr. Casper 
Walker, upon whom the hand of affliction has fallen so heavily, died last 
Friday, 21st inst., and was buried Saturday at Bold Springs church, 7  miles 
east of Cairo.  Mr. Casper Walker was a model citizen and much esteemed by all 
who knew him.  He worked hard and brought on a premature decline.

He, by industry and economy, made a good living and accumulated considerable 
property.   He was a faithful member of the Methodist church and led a 
Christian life and will be sadly missed.

He leaves a wife, four children, four sisters and a brother, Dr. W. A. Walker, 
to mourn his loss.

The Messenger joins the famiy and many friends in extending sympathy to the 
bereaved.
