"Newsy Notes From Whigham"
After an illness of nearly three months, little Annie May Jones, the two and 
one-half year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. F. Jones, passed away Wednesday, 
a.m.  All that loving hands could do was done for the precious little girl by 
parents, sisters, brothers, friends, trained nurses, and the best of medical 
attention, but all in vain.  The little white winged messenger came with its 
icy claws of death and took the little angel from its suffering couch to the 
bright beyond, Wednesday morning.  Interment took place at Whigham cemetery 
Thursday a.m.  Services were conducted by Rev. Mays, assisted by Rev. 
Christopher.
