Miss Becky was visiting her old home and relatives when taken sick. When news reached Whigham of her death it was quite a shock to her relatives and many friends of this place, and no lady in Whigham will be missed any more than the demised. She was a consistent member of the Primitive church; was about 57 years of age and leaves three brothers and six sisters to mourn her death, Messrs. Nathan, Tom, and Jim Maxwell of Calvary, Mrs. Fate Vickers of Whigham, Mrs. Ira Allen of Climax, Mrs. Dan Bryant, Mrs. Ferrell, Mrs. Bob Sanders and Miss Mary Maxwell of Calvary. The remains were laid to rest in the family cemetery at Calvary Thursday afternoon. Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Hollingsworth. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved family.
