Mr. J. L. Stewart Passes Away
The Messenger learns of the recent death of Mr. J. L. Stewart of pneumonia, 
which sad event occurred at his home near Carthage, Oklahoma.

Mr. Stewart was born and reared in Thomas county, near Bold Spring 
neighborhood, and moved to Carthage about three years ago.  He leaves a mother 
and three sisters and three brothers to mourn his loss: Mrs. Lee Drew, Grady 
county; Mrs. D. H. Tucker, Dallas, Texas; Miss Erie Stewart, Carthage, 
Oklahoma; Messrs. C. H., Earl, and Clifford Stewart, Carthage.  His remains 
were buried at Carthage, Oklahoma.
