The Passing Away Of A Good Woman
We regret to chronicle the sudden death, last week in Whigham, of Mrs. Powell, 
wife of Mr. W. A. Powell, after a short illness.  Mrs. Powell was taken 
suddenly and violently ill on Sunday and died the following Tuesday.  Her 
physician states that her death was due to uric acid poisoning.  She was laid 
to rest Wednesday afternoon from the Methodist church where the funeral 
services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. V. P. Scoville.

To the afflicted husband, children and mourning relatives, we join the many 
friends in extending sympathy.
