F. Wamble was taken from this world of suffering to one of eternal joy. The little one suffered untold pain from Thursday, September 3d, till God called it home to rest. All that willing hands of loved ones, and friends could do, did not seem to aid the little sufferer. The little form was laid away at Pine Level. Bros. Mills and Shiver gave a very consoling talk to the bereaved parents and loved ones. Dear father and mother don't grieve after the precious jewel God planted in your care, and then took away and transplanted it in Jesus' arms, but prepare to meet it some day, some sweet day. Dearest Murrey, thou hast left us, Our loss we deeply feel; But 'tis God that has bereft us, He can all our sorrows heal. Lonely the house, and sad the hours, Since our dear one has gone; But, oh, a brighter home than ours, In Heaven is now his own. The little babe has gone to rest, To reign with God for ever blest, Its little tongue will ever praise, A Saviour's love, redeeming grace. Could we but hear its little tongue, So sweetly sing the heavenly song. Could we but see its smiling face, Delighted with the happy place. We could not wish it back again, But say dear babe with God remain; We'll try to gain that peaceful shore, Where those who meet shall part no more. We shall reach the river side, We shall cross the stormy tide; We shall share in Jesus' love, And meet the little babe above.
