Death of John Harrell
With sadness we note the Death angel visited the home of our neighbor and 
highly esteemed friend, E. G. Harrell, and taken his darling boy, John, in the 
bloom of life.  John was a good, obedient, loving child, and all who knew him 
loved him yet the great God of all creation had a higher prupose in him than to 
let him stay here in this vile world of sin and corruption.  We feel sure our 
loss is his gain.  We extend to his heartbroken father and all the bereaved, 
our sympathy, and must the "Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed by 
the name of the Lord."

"While we wait here in grief and sin,
Hoping in time to meet again; 
While he sleeps that blessed sleep
From which none e'er wake to weep.
But in that morn when all things new shall be so light
He will be brought back to light."
