W. Blair. Nearing her fiftieth year she sank into that blessed slumber from which one ever wake to weep. As if Angels beckoned her she quietly passed over the river of death into those realms of sweet fields arrayed in living green, where shines one bright eternal day. We know it is well with her but while faith points upward and promises that we shall meet in the beautiful beyond and though reason whispers: "God knows best", still our human hearts weep and tremble. How deep and clinging her love for those so dear to her! Oh! Blessed Power that not only sweetens the joys of life, but enables us to triumph over sickness, pain and death. She leaves four children to mourn her loss: Bessie, Mrs. Ollie Eubanks, John and George. She was a devoted mother, a kind and affectionate wife. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. R. G. Lewis on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 6th, four miles south of Cairo at the old family burial ground and was attended by a large crowd of relatives and friends. God grant that the family circle may be complete in Heaven. A friend This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
