Age 13 years, 7 months, and 10 days. Father, mother, and three sisters are left to mourn Louie's death, and no doubt they wonder why Louie was claimed by the Grim Master of Death and snatched from them just in the bloom of youth; but father, mother, brothers and sisters, you should remember that God in his infinite wisdom saw fit to call dear Louie from this dark world of sin and woe to a world where there is no dark valley, no fever and no lagrippe. For some three or four weeks Louie had been sick with lagrippe but had recovered to such an extent that he was able to go to Pelham on the Saturday previous to his death; then he relapsed and lived till only Wednesday. He was a bright boy and loved by all his playmates and neighbors. His relatives and friends hope some day to see Louie face to face on the gold paved streets of the New Jerusalem where there will be no deaths, no heartaches and no partings but where all those who love God will shout and sing forever., I ask the family to accept my heartfelt sympathy.
