B. Brown, in Cairo. Dr. Peacock has been in failing health since last April, and has been confined to his bed for the past eighteen weeks. His death was caused by a complication of diseases, and everything possible was done for his relief, but to no avail. He was born in Heard county, Ga., on Aug. 27th, 1870, and at the age of twenty years he began the practice of dentistry in Cairo, where he remained until about seven years ago when he moved to Bradenton, Fla., residing there until last April, when he had to give up his practice on account of failing health. He is survived by a mother, wife and three children, besides numberous relatives and friends to mourn his loss. The funeral services were held at the residence of Mr. W. B. Brown and was conducted by Rev. W. E. Towson, assisted by Dr. Robert H. Harris. The remains were turned over to the Knights of Pythias and Masons and interred in teh cemetery in Cairo last Wednesday afternoon with appropriate honors of the Orders.
