The Cairo Messenger, Friday, September 1, 1911
The many friends and acquaintances of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Muggridge were pained 
to learn of the death of their son, Mr. Clarence Muggridge, on Thursday, Aug. 
24th, in Jacksonville, Fla., from typhoid fever.  Clarence was 20 years, 11 
months and 20 years of age.  He leaves father, mother, eight brothers and two 
sisters and a large number of relatives and friends to mourn at his going.  The 
body was laid to rest in the Cairo cemetery last Friday afternoon.
