She was suddenly attacked Friday night eating supper and had to be carried to her bed. Skilled physicians and loved ones could not relieve her. Mrs. Walden was about 36 years of age. She leaves a devoted husband and four children, besides several brothers and sisters and a host of friends to mourn her death. She was a sister of Messrs. George and Henry Clark. She was a consistent member of the Baptist church. The funeral services, Monday afternoon, at the family cemetery at Providence, were conducted by Rev. Billie Sellers. Before her marriage to Mr. Walden, she was Miss Emma Clark. She was a warm friend of your writer, and always thought of me when she had any chance to send me lunch of things she knew I liked, and I feel with the family her loss; however, we have one assurance, that she is resting under the wings of the angels.
