Chason are pained to learn of her death which occurred at her home three miles south of Ochlocknee, last Monday morning at four o'clock. Mrs. Chason had only been sick for a couple of weeks with typhoid fever when her strength failed her and she passed from this to the eternal life. Mrs. Chason was well known in and around our city, having resided in south Grady until a few years ago, when the family moved to the northern part of the county near Ochlocknee. The deceased was fifty five years of age, and has for a number of years been a faithful and consistent member of the Baptist church. She leaves a husband and several children to mourn her loss. The funeral occurred Tuesday morning at eleven o'clock, being conducted by Rev. W. H. Godwin, interment at Ochlocknee cemetery.
