Little Leona Farnell Passes Away
On Saturday last, after an illness of about forty-eight hours, little Leona 
Farnell, daughter of Mrs. Amelia Farnell, of this town, died of congestion of 
the brain.  Leona was a pupil of Whigham High School and was as bright and 
apparently well as ever until taken with a chill followed by convulsions on 
Thursday morning.  All that loving hands and medical skill could do, was done 
for her, but God knows His lambs, and one by one, He gathers them to himself.  
The mother, sister and devoted grandparents have the sympathy of a host of 
friends in their deep distress.

Safe in the arms of Jesus,
