Mrs. R. F. Evans Passes Away
Mrs. R. F. Evans, a former resident of Cairo, and mother of Mr. H. M. Evans, 
died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. B. D. Hartsfield, in Gainesville, Fla., 
last Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.  The immediate cause of her death was 
paralysis, which attacked her only a few months ago.

The remains were laid to rest last Thursday morning at ten o'clock in the 
Moultrie cemetery beside those of her husband, Rev. R. F. Evans, who had 
preceded her to the great beyond only a few years. 

She is survived by five children.  She has a host of relatives and friends in 
Cairo and surrounding country who are saddened by the news of her death.
