Death of Two Small Children
What was the saddest fatality that has occurred in this county for many a long 
day, was the death of two little children last Wednesday at Pine Park.  Little 
Grace and Albert, son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Singletary, died 
last Wednesday, little Grace passing away in the morning from congestive chill 
in the 10th year of her age.  In the afternoon her little brother, Albert, 
expired from malaria, in his 4th year.

The remains were sent to Cairo, where they were laid to rest a few miles below 
Cairo, the Rev. W. C. Jones performing the burial rites.
