Mr. Arch Harrell, father of the deceased, is a member of the Board of County Commissioners, and is well known over the county. Hannon Harrell was at work in Ohio when he contracted a severe case of blood poison. Complications set in and he died in a few days. His parents were immediately notified when he grew seriously ill and it is understood that his mother was at his bedside when the end came. A large concourse of relatives and friends attended the funeral services in the Harrell home in Whigham. The deceased was about twenty years of age.
