G. Harrell was called to Beachton to hold an inquest over the body of Henry Hall, the 15 year old son of Mr. George Hall of the Beachton District who was drowned in a pond near his home Sunday afternoon. It seems from the evidence introduced at the inquest, that Henry and a younger brother had gone to the pond for a swim. He dived into the water which was hardly four feet deep, but never arose. The younger brother seeing that Henry had not come to the top of the water went for assistance. Several quickly responded to the call for help and the body was found by E. B. McCall, lying face upward, about ten feet from the edge, in water about waist deep. Witnesses testified that the body was in perfect condition and it is judged that when the young man dived he was struck with an epileptic fit, as it is said that he was subject to these strokes. The funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon. The jury rendered the following verdict: "We, the jury, sworn and empaneled by the coroner, find that the deceased, Henry Hall, came to his death by accidental drowning." (Signed) H. O. Walker, W. M.
