We know it is hard to give her up, but we must be submissive to the will of God, for we know He knows best. Oh she suffered, yes, she suffered, while on her bed she lay; till God said ‘tis enough and took her away. Little heart that beat so bright, pretty eyes that shine so bright, and that smiling face we see no more. Thou art gone; our precious Fannie Bell. Never more canst thou return; there will sleep a peaceful slumber ‘till the resurrection morning, there we will clasp God's hands dear darling, on that bright and shining shore where parting and goodbyes come never more. Weep not, dear parents, but prepare to meet her in Heaven.
