She was in her twenty-sixth year. Since early childhood, she had been a member of the Methodist church. Before her marriage to Mr. Hancock, she was Miss Trudy Singletary of Pine Park. The funeral services were held at the Cairo Methodist Church, Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, Rev. T. E. Davenport, assisted by Rev. P. C. Barkley, conducted the service. Interment followed in the local cemetery. Besides her husband, she leaves a little girl nine years of age and a little boy about five years of age.
