Death of Aged Lady Last Sunday Morning

Mrs. Susie C. Joiner, wife of Mr. F. J. Joiner, passed away at her home in 
Grady County last Sunday morning.  Mrs. Joiner had been in feeble health for a 
period of months, but was only taken seriously ill about three weeks ago.  She 
was 70 years of age, and had resided in Grady County for the past eighteen 
years.  She and her husband moved to this section from Macon County.

Mrs. Joiner was a devoted member of the Methodist church and was a woman of 
high Christian character.  The body was carried back to the old home in Macon 
county and interment was at the Brady cemetery.

The deceased is survived by her husband and three children, two daughters, Mrs. 
J. L. Flowers, of Pelham and Mrs. J. W. Nicholson, of Grady County; one son, 
Mr. Dean Joiner. — Pelham Journal
