Mrs. R. C. Little Died In Atlanta Last Friday

Funeral services of Mrs. R. C. Little whose death in Atlanta last Friday 
afternoon brought grief to hundreds of friends and relatives in Atlanta and 
Cairo, were held Saturday afternoon from the home, 54 Rosedale Road.  Rev. 
Wallace Rogers officiated and interment was at West View Cemetery.

Mrs. Little was the wife of R. C. Little, business manager of the Atlanta 
Public Schools and an instructor in several schools and colleges in Atlanta.  
In early womanhood, she was instructor in music in the Cairo School and it was 
while here that she met and formed the acquaintance of Mr. Little, who was then 
superintendent of the school.

Mr. and Mrs. Little have been residing in Atlanta for about eight years and 
during that time, Mrs. Little has taken an active part in the work of 
Tabernacle Baptist church, the Inman Park Student's Club and the Whatsoever 
Club, all of which she was a member.  She has won a place of love and esteem 
among those with whom she worked, for her untiring efforts in charity work and 
her perseverence in doing acts of kindness.

Before her marriage, Mrs. Little was Miss Susie Slater.  She is survived by her 
husband, three sons, Robert, Lamar and Julian Little; three brothers, J. C. 
Slater of Savannah; W. A. Slater of Brooklet and Brantley Slater of Alpharetta, 
and by six sisters, Mrs. J. B. Wight and Miss Louise Slater of Cairo; Mesdames 
C. W. and J. M. Smith of Valdosta; Mrs. W. A. Hodges of Statesboro and Mrs. Ida 
B. Heidt of Savannah.
