Mrs. Sarah Maxwell Died Here Saturday

Mrs. Sarah Maxwell, wife of the late D. W. Maxwell, of Calvary, died in the 
home of Mrs. J. H. Carter here on last Saturday morning.  The funeral services 
and interment were held at the family cemetery near Calvary on Sunday morning.

The deceased is survived by five children: Mrs. S. D. Cherry of Donalsonville; 
Mrs. J. H. Carter of this city; Mrs. R. T. Lewis of Jacksonville, Fla.; Mr. A. 
H. Maxwell of East Porte, Fla., and Mr. G. B. Maxwell of Bengal, Oklahoma.  She 
is also survived by one sister, Mrs. C. H. Butler, of Calvary.

Many friends and relatives attended the funeral services Sunday morning.  They 
were conducted by Rev. P. C. Barkley of the Cairo Baptist Church and Rev. N. G. 
Christopher of Whigham.
