Mrs. Katie Blewett Pollock died at the age of 71 on May 14, 1978 at Emory 
University in Atlanta after an illness of about two months.  Funeral services 
were held in the Chapel of Braswell Funeral Home in Pelham on May 16, 1978 with 
Rev. Frank Jarvis, Rev. W. F. Dyches and Rev. Robert Blewett officiating, 
interment in the Pinecrest Memory Gardens.  Active pallbearers were Deacons of 
the East Pelham Baptist Church.

Mrs. Pollock was born in Grady County, Georgia on November 27, 1906 to the late 
Rev. John Robert and Missouri Brock Blewett and on August 28, 1928 she was 
married to Debbs Pollock.

She was a housewife and a member of East Pelham Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband and one son, Cullen Pollock of Thomasville; two 
daughters, Mrs. J. T. Rehberg and Mrs. Frank Cameron both of Pelham; four 
grandsons and several nieces and nephews; four brothers, Robert and T. J. 
Blewett of Pelham; Foy Blewett of Albany and Earl Blewett of Hampton, Va.
