(Lizzie) Mills, 95, of Whigham, died Monday, April 24, in Mitchell County Hospital, Camilla, followign a brief illness. Funeral services were Wednesday, April 26, at 3 p.m. in Cox Funeral Chapel in Bainbridge with J. W. McAdams officiating. Interment was in Old Mars Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Mills was a native of what was then Decatur County, now Grady, and had lived around Whigham her entire life. She was a member of Old Mars Hill Christian Church and a housewife. Her late husband was a farmer and active in public affairs. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W. F. (Vernice) Manry, Camilla; three sons, Idason Mills, Tallahassee, Coy Mills, Whigham and Fred Mills, Albany; twenty-six grandchildren; sixty-one great grandchildren, and twenty-nine great- great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Redolph Mills, Gene Mills, Herbert Mills, Bobby Chason, Jimmy Miller and Max Manry. Cox Funeral Home of Bainbridge was in charge of arrangements.
