Mrs. G. T. Sasser Dies At Her Home In Havana

Tuesday, March 5th, the death angel visited the home of Mr. G. T. Sasser and 
took a dear wife and mother.  She was a native of Randolph County but moved 
here with her parents in early childhood.

She was stricken with the dreadful disease of pneumonia and only lived 9 days.  
She was only 38 years of age at the time of her death.  She numbered her 
friends by her acquaintances.

She joined Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in early girlhood.

The funeral was held at Pleasant Grove on Wednesday, March 6th in charge of her 
pastor, Rev. J. P. Swann.

She leaves to mourn her departure a husband, two children, Laurine, aged 10, 
and Authur, aged 4, and four brothers, L. A. Ragan, R. E. Lindsay, E. D. 
Lindsay, and M. L. Lindsay, besides a host of other relatives and friends in 
Randolph and Grady Counties.
