Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 24, 1979 at 3 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Hatcher officiating. Interment was in Bold Springs Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Rudolph Hurst, Dolan Hawthorn, Edison Davis, Clayton Aldredge, Bruce Atkinson and Jack Drew. Mrs. Hudson was born in Grady County, Georgia on December 14, 1896 to the late Tom and Emma Boutwell Pyles and was married to Benjamin Franklin Hudson. She had lived a lifetime in this area and worked as a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, James A. Hudson of Cairo and Robert B. Hudson of Ochlocknee, Ga.; three daughters, Ruby Bishop and Susie Rich both of Cairo and Mary Frank Bryant of East Point, Florida; 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lottie Willis of Whigham, Ga.
