Hudson of Route 1, Cairo, died April 12, 1969 in Americus following a lengthy illness. The funeral services were held Monday, April 14, 1969 at Trinity Primitive Baptist Church with Elder C. W. Todd of Caryville, Fla. officiating. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Mr. Billy Miller, David Mobley, Herbert Powell, Jr., Danny Clark, Hudson Powell, John Thomas Hudson, John Hudson III, John P. Lee. Mrs. Hudson was born in Grady County September 8, 1892. She was a member of the Trinity Primitive Bapitst Church. Mrs. Hudson was the wife of the late Mr. John B. Hudson, Sr. Survivors include 3 sons, Mr. Robert J. Hudson, Sr., Atlanta; Mr. John Hudson, Jr., Fitzgerald; Rev. David E. Hudson, Statesboro; 6 daughters, Mrs. Charlie Mobley, Mrs. Ralph Miller, both of Whigham, Mrs. Milan R. Thorsby, Tucker, Mrs. Herbert Powell, Statesboro, Mrs. Tim Stevens, Sanford, Fla., Mrs. Dan Clark, Turkeville, S.C.; 3 brothers, Mr. D. W. Prevatte, Jr., Winter Haven, Fla.; Paul Prevatte, Lakeland, Fla., and Mr. Hiram Prevatte, Eaton Park, Fla.; 5 sisters, Mrs. Lilla Duncan, Climax, Mrs. K. T. Jones, Lakeland, Fla., Mrs. Tom C. Maxwell, Hialeah, Fla., Mrs. Leonard A. Washington, Plant City, Fla., Mrs. Tom Hall, Climax; 28 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
