The Cairo Messenger, January 11, 1985
Mr. Louis F. Moore passed away Saturday, January 5, 1985 at Bainbridge Health 
Care.

Funeral services for Mr. Moore were held Monday, January 7, 1985 at Ivey 
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Dawson and the Rev. Phillip Kirkland 
officiating.  Interment followed at Butler Cemetery in Whigham, Ga.

Emory Johnson, Billy Moore, Kermit Harrison, James Moore, Keith Harrison and 
Donald Harrison served as active pallbearers.

Mr. Moore was born in Whigham, Ga. and resided in Attapulgus, Ga. where he 
lived for 22 years and worked as a farmer and was a member of the Attapulgus 
Church of God.

Survivors include 3 brothers, Lester Moore, Emory Moore and Eugene Moore, all 
of Whigham; 1 sister, Mrs. (Leo) Eva Harrison, of Whigham, and many nieces and 
nephews.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
