The Cairo Messenger, January 9, 1981
Mr. Jesse William Hollingsworth passed at his residence in Whigham Monday, Jan. 
5, 1981, after a brief illness.

Services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 1981 at Trinity Primitive 
Baptist Church with Elder Carlton Todd officiating.  Interment followed at 
Trinity Cemetery.

The nephews, G. B. Hollingsworth, Jr., W. Glenn Hollingsworth, Kedar 
Hollingsworth, R. Leverne Hollingsworth, Wayne W. Hollingsworth and Groover 
Womble served as active pallbearers.

Mr. Hollingsworth who was retired was born in Grady County, March 3, 1903 to 
the late Robert Cornelius (Neal) and Eliza Maxwell Hollingsworth.  His wife, 
Ruby Pond Hollingsworth, preceded him in death in 1965.  He was a member of the 
Trinity Primitive Baptist Church in Whigham, Ga.

Survivors include a brother, G. B. Hollingsworth, Sr., of Whigham and a number 
of nieces and nephews.

Clark Funeral Home of Cairo handled arrangements.
