Local survivors include his wife, Thelma S. White; daughters, Sue Cannon, Bonnie Cox, Janice Von Borstel; and a son, Scott Harrell. -- Clark Funeral Home THOMAS WHITE Mr. Thomas Jefferson White, 77, passed away March 17, 2003, at Grady General Hospital, Cairo, Ga. Mr. White was born Sept. 20, 1925, in Calhoun County, Fla., to the late Mr. and Mrs.Thomas White. He served with the armed forces, was a commercial truck driver and was of the Baptist faith. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Cairo, with the Rev. Scott Harrell officiating. The family will receive visitors immediately after the service on Saturday. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Scott White, Cairo; daughters and sons-in- law, Sue and Donald Cannon, Cairo, Bonnie Cox, Cairo, and Janice and George VonBorstel, Hayesville, N.C.; a son, Scott Harrell, Ojai, Calif.; a son-in-law, David Plymel, Charleston, S.C.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great- grandchildren. Mr.White was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Plymel. Clark Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
