T. (Emma Evans) Bryant, 88. The many friends of Mrs. W. T. Bryant were grieved to know of her passing on Friday afternoon, March 21st, at 12:30 o’clock, at her home on Route 1, after suffering from a sudden heart attack. Mrs. Bryant was born in Decatur County on April 10, 1858. Practically all of her life was spent in Grady County. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church. Her survivors include her husband, Mr. W. T. Bryant, and one sister, Mrs. Annie Wishon, Orlando, FL. The funeral was held at the Chapel of South Georgia Funeral Home at 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon with Rev. F. O. Oates, in charge. Interment was in the Cairo cemetery. The following served as pallbearers, Messrs Carl Helton, J. L. Bryant, Braxton Bryant, Joseph Bryant, Othyl Bryant, Clifford Bloodsworth, Lloyd Brinkley and J. D. Brinkley.
